I originally purchased this for use in making a beef bouguignon recipe, as it was on sale. A chance visit from an old friend led to opening it for use as a drinking wine instead. BAD IDEA. It was heavy, poor tasting, and produced both a nasty aftertaste and a mild headache. My friend and I both agreed it would have been better saved for the recipe, for which I am still sure it would have served fine. I’ve learned my lesson - never again drink any wine that comes with a Raccoon on the label.
