Tecate is a Mexican beer that has become the Budweiser of Southern California. Unlike the ubiquitous Corona — Tecate does not need the addition of fruit to be drinkable. It has a crisp, refreshing taste and goes great with Mexican (or any spicy) food. Unfortunately, I have found this beer difficult to find in bars in states other than California, but it is available in cans at grocery stores around the US.
