Doctor Who is 40+ years old. It has spaned both television and novel format not to mention the long going ausio adventures. Even the 2005 revival has gone string. Doctor Who is the World’s longest running science fiction television show and has more episodes than Star Trek. As of now, Doctor Who stands with a total of 713 episodes and over 600 novels in print.
I’ve been a big fan of Doctor Who since Tom Baker. I absolutely love the newer series. Any sci fi fan would love the series. I’m not always crazy about “remakes” of old sci fi shows. The Kolchak remake left me cold, as did Battlestar Gallactica. But Doctor Who gets better and better with each episode.
