I have tuned in to this program a couple of times, while surfing the channels.
I do not want to spend time hearing of a celebrity’s struggle and downfall because of drugs. Airing all of these ills does not give people hope….it’s just a way of exposing them to the public and gives us another “reality” program that we can do without. And if it is meant to congratulate those who are successful…let’s congratulate people instead, who are making a difference in the world. This show is about narcissistic people, who choose celebrity status to fill their lives with value…then they keep falling into the same black hole with their misuse of money and drugs. I can’t see any benefit from this program. (Except monetary benefits for the producers)

i have been watching celebrity rehab with dr. drew and would like to recommend it to anyone interested in learning more about substance abuse and human psychology. It is refreshing to see a reality show that actually encourages folks to improve their behaviour instead of goading them into bad behaviours.

It’s tax season again, so The Smoking Gun is scrambling to find those stray receipts from the Salvation Army–otherwise, our meager philanthropy will go undeducted. That, however, is not a problem for scores of celebrities who have formed foundations to manage their charitable donations. In most instances, stars like Jay Leno and Will Smith donate directly to their foundations. That money is then usually invested in stocks, bonds, or treasury bills, the dividends from which are used to make contributions to groups ranging from the Gay Men’s Health Crisis to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation.
In this extensive collection of documents, The Smoking Gun looks at more than 40 groups to determine which celebrity foundations are generous and which need encouragement. Through Freedom of Information Act requests filed with the Internal Revenue Service, TSG compiled scores of tax returns filed by these foundations. In most cases, the documents we received cover calendar year 1997, the most recent year for which records are available. Some reports, however, did include partial accountings for 1998 charitable activity.

i have the upmost admiration for sean, i was born and raised in england and have alway’s been a great fan of his dad’s but i could never understand how he went from one blone to the next having kid’s along the way!!
years ago he said that if sean was ever arrested that he would not bail him out, when my then son of 17 was arrested i remembered those words and left him there for 2 day’s, it taught him the best lesson of his life.
i wish my 22 yr old daughter had the resources and courage like sean to go in to rehab. sean, you have grown up to be a good looking man with a very sweet and gentle nature, don’t ever lose focus of your goal’s mate and you will overcome your addiction’s.i think you are an inspiration to a lot of young men out there.good luck mate and keep sane in there!!!!!!!
