I went into the movie Be Kind Rewind expecting to enjoy it. I did not go into it expecting to love it, but that’s what happened. It’s an absolutely delightful movie and completely original. Jack Black is goofy without being over the top, Mos Def gives a sincere performance, and Danny Glover is as earnest as I’ve ever seen him. The ending might be just a LITTLE cheesy, but it still wraps up the movie nicely.
